BLACK HISTORY
As a platform that primarily deals in dance music, we’d be remiss to ignore the foundations of what we all know, love, and benefit from. House isn’t just a feeling, it’s a way of life. Dance music isn’t just a scene, it’s a community, a revolution, and a calling. None of it would exist without the black pioneers that sacrificed, struggled, and nonetheless kept surviving, dreaming, and creating. Here are some of our favorite educational resources on the Black history of Dance Music.
